You can’t help but see the ads everywhere you look now with lawyers promising big checks and smiling faces. They may try to trick you into thinking they are experts in every case. Don’t fall for the thought that bigger is always better or that more ads equal better representation. You should actually ask yourself why they are always on television if they are so good at what they do?
Three Things Big Law Firms Don’t Want You To Know
The big TV firms have some secrets they’d rather you not know, but I will let you in on a few:
1. The Face On TV Will Not Be The Face Handling Your Case
First, the people you see on TV will never sit down with you, review your case, or go to court with you. Those lawyers with all that advertising across the state or multiple states generate a massive amount of calls daily. Because of the volume, there’s no way your case will get the attention it deserves. Preparing for trial requires effort, time, and personalized knowledge of your case. The mass production firms may encourage you to settle and miss out on what you are truly entitled to.
2. The Firm’s Medical Providers Are Not Looking Out For Your Interests
Second, the physicians these attorneys have access to aren’t tailored to your needs. Often, they simply send you to a chiropractic clinic that exhausts your MedPay or Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits without trying to help you get better. These clinics are too often chosen so that the insurance company pays them — not to get you back to the way you were before your injury.
3. Big Firm Attorneys Often Lack Necessary Courtroom Experience
Finally, these law firms do not have time to take interest in your case. They want you to settle and do it fast. An attorney may say they have many years of experience but will not tell you what his/her experience is in the courtroom and going to trial. Many of them couldn’t even find our local courthouses in Southeast Georgia.
Reach Out To An Attorney Who Will Have Your Best Interests In Mind
At the Law Office of Brad S. McLelland, I often work with clients who previously consulted with the TV lawyers and did not get personalized attention. They often got the runaround and had their cases handed around the office like a hot potato, not knowing from day to day who was even their attorney. Don’t fall for it!
You don’t have to settle. You have a choice. If you are looking for an attorney who has your best interests in mind (rather than one looking for a quick settlement), give my office in Brunswick, Georgia, a call for a free consultation. Call (912) 400-0039 today, or reach me via email.
